Krapina Canyoning Adventure is a guided canyoning activity in Budva where you descend the Drenostica River canyon with rappels, jumps and natural water slides over approximately 5 hours. The guides tailor the route to your skill level, from novice to experienced. All equipment and instruction are included, and the canyon sits minutes from the meeting point at Krapina Ethno Village.

The experience

You start at Krapina Ethno Village, where the guides fit you with canyoning gear and walk you through how to use it. The canyon entrance is a short walk away. Once you're in the riverbed, the Drenostica River has carved narrow passages and natural slides into the rock: the real work begins with controlled descents down tight sections, jumps into pools, and slides that test your balance and nerve. The guides lead from the front and stay with the group throughout, adjusting the difficulty on the fly based on who's there and how everyone's moving.

The whole push takes about 3 to 4 hours depending on group size and how the day unfolds. After you work back up to the starting point, you can head straight out or linger at the ethno village if you want to catch your breath and explore. The guides speak English, Croatian and Serbian, and kids from age 10 can join if they have at least a moderate fitness level.
