The experience

The first thing that hit me in Tiraspol was the silence, not empty, just thick, like the city was holding its breath. There’s something about seeing people live their regular lives in a place most maps ignore. Old women selling sunflower seeds by the bus stop. Teenagers glued to their phones under Soviet mosaics.
