The experience

The night opens at 9pm with thirty minutes of free drinks and drinking games to loosen everyone up, then team games to get to know the other crawlers. This is where solo travelers stop being solo. The group format means you're meeting people from all over on the same crawl, not tagging along behind a guide. After that comes karaoke if you want it (nobody forces it), and then the three-venue run starts around 10:30pm.

Each venue comes with a free shot, the big ones, and drinks of the day at half price. The third stop is a three-story club with a rooftop, the kind of place where birthdays get candles and sometimes confetti. Between venues the guides hand out shots and set up challenges. The winning team takes home a bottle of champagne. The guides leave at 1am, but the party keeps going until 3am, so the night doesn't stop when the official crawl does.
