The Experience
You arrive at your chosen meeting point in Puerto Vallarta and board the Chica Fun 1, a 65-foot trimaran with two large decks, cushioned seating, and both sun and shade. The captain and crew take it from there—you tell them where you want to go, and they plot the route. Most groups head south toward Los Arcos National Marine Park, where granite arches rise out of the water and the snorkeling is some of the best in the bay, or west to Yelapa's white sand beach and sapphire water. Colomitos, the smallest beach in Mexico, sits tucked into the Sierra Madre mountains and is only reachable by boat. Playa Majahuitas and the private beach at Las Caletas are also options. The day is yours to shape.
Once anchored, the water toys come out. Two waterslides drop into the ocean from the upper deck; a jumping platform lets anyone who wants it leap straight in. Paddleboards, kayaks, snorkeling gear, and water mattresses and tubes are all there. The crew hands out masks and fins, points out the fish and sea life, and keeps an eye on everyone in the water. Between swims, you're back on deck with fresh guacamole and blue corn chips, cold water, coffee, juices, sodas, beer, wine, margaritas, piña coladas and champagne—all included. If your group wants hot Mexican fajitas, the kitchen can make them for an additional 150 pesos per person.
The 4-hour charter works because everything is arranged: landing fees, facility fees, all the water gear, the bar, the snacks, and a captain who knows the bay. You pick your group size when you book—options run from 15 people up to 65—and the crew contacts you to confirm your meeting point and preferred stops. Infants sit on an adult's lap. The boat is stable and suitable for all fitness levels, so families, friend groups and corporate outings all work the same way.

What's the difference between the group size options for the yacht charter?
The Chica Fun 1 offers five group size options: up to 15, 25, 35, 45, or 65 people. You choose the size that matches your group when you book, and the price adjusts accordingly. The boat, waterslides, water toys and bar are the same; only the capacity and per-person cost change.
Can we snorkel at Los Arcos, and what will we see there?
Los Arcos National Marine Park is one of the best snorkeling spots in Banderas Bay. The granite arches and caves are teeming with fish and sea life both above and below the water. Snorkel gear is included, and the crew will guide you to the best spots and point out what's around you.
What beaches can we visit on the private yacht tour?
You customize your route, so the stops depend on what your group wants. Popular choices include Yelapa, known for white sand and sapphire water; Colomitos, the smallest beach in Mexico, tucked into the Sierra Madre; Playa Majahuitas, often called the best beach in Puerto Vallarta; and Las Caletas, a private beach designed for relaxation. The captain knows all of them and can take you where you'd like to go.
Is the open bar really included, or are there drinks we have to pay extra for?
Beer, wine, margaritas, piña coladas, champagne, juices, sodas, coffee and water are all included. The only add-on is hot Mexican fajitas if your group wants them, which cost 150 pesos per person. Everything else is covered in the charter price.
How does the meeting point work, and do we need to arrange our own transportation?
You choose your meeting point in Puerto Vallarta when you book, and the crew will confirm it with you. Public transportation options are available nearby if you need them. One of the charter options includes pickup, so check which size option you're booking to see if that's included in your choice.
