The experience

The session starts with the guide meeting you and spending time getting you comfortable. This matters because the best photographs come when you stop thinking about being photographed. The guide is trained in human connection as much as composition, so the first part of the experience is about conversation and finding your rhythm together. Once you're settled, you move through Mazunte: the guide chooses locations and timing based on the light and what works for you, whether that's the coast, the town, or somewhere quieter.

You'll walk the area for roughly two hours, stopping at spots the guide knows work well for portraits. The guide handles the technical side (framing, exposure, angles), while you focus on being present. Because the guide lives in Mazunte, they know when the light hits certain places best and can read the landscape in a way a visiting photographer cannot. Drone shots are part of the package, so you'll have both close portraits and wider images that show you in the place itself.

After the session, you get 35 full HD images, all retouched and ready to use. Private transportation is included, so if you're staying elsewhere or don't have a car, the logistics are handled. The guide also shares recommendations about the area (restaurants, quieter beaches, things worth seeing), so you leave with both the images and a sense of where you've been.
