The experience

The boat heads out into the Pacific to find dolphins that move through these waters year-round. You'll have snorkeling gear in hand, ready to drop into the water when the guide spots a pod. Spinner dolphins breach and spin; spotted dolphins hunt in groups; bottlenose dolphins move closer to the surface. The water is warm enough to stay in, and the guide watches for the safest moment to enter. Between December and March, humpback whales migrate through the same stretch of coast, so you may see them breach or blow from the boat.

The tour runs three hours total. Hotel pickup is included, so you don't arrange transport yourself. The guide meets you at your accommodation and brings you back when the tour ends. The guide speaks English or Spanish and stays with the group the whole time, pointing out what's moving beneath and around the boat. Snorkeling equipment (mask, fins, snorkel) comes with the booking.
