The experience

The day starts with a hike through the coastal trails around Ixtapa, covering 8 kilometers round trip before you reach the climbing site. The landscape shifts from scrub and forest to rocky terrain as you approach the sea-facing rock formations where the real climbing begins.

Once at the site, you'll rappel down 30 meters of vertical rock with expert guidance securing your descent. After the rappel, you climb back up the same rock face for 30 meters, testing your strength and technique. The final part of the adventure is free climbing on unique rock formations right by the sea, where the views open up across the water and the rock itself becomes part of the experience.

An air-conditioned vehicle picks you up from your location and brings you back after the activity ends. Your guide speaks English or Spanish and stays with the group throughout, managing safety and pacing the day so you finish within four hours total. Children as young as 5 can join, though the hike and climbing demand a moderate level of fitness and stamina.
