The experience
The catamaran leaves Playa Tortugas (Km 6.5, Boulevard Kukulcán) and crosses the Caribbean toward El Meco Reef, where you'll spend time in the water with provided snorkeling gear, exploring the reef's marine life. The boat carries a shared group, so the pace is social and the atmosphere stays relaxed. After the reef stop, a snack comes aboard before the boat heads to Playa Norte.
Playa Norte is where the day opens up. You have free time to swim, walk the sand, or rest under the sun while the boat stays anchored offshore. The beach club provides an international buffet lunch and access to an open bar serving rum, tequila, whisky, soft drinks and bottled water throughout the afternoon. After eating and swimming, you can explore Isla Mujeres' streets on your own before boarding for the return sail to Cancun.
The tour runs eight hours total. Hotel pickup is available from select Cancun locations if you book that option. If your hotel isn't listed, contact the operator. The boat has restrooms onboard and is wheelchair accessible. Without a pickup option, you'll meet the boat at Playa Tortugas.
