The experience
The park runs quad sessions at fixed times (10am, 12:30pm and 15:00), so you arrive 30 minutes early to gear up and get a safety briefing. You'll ride a single or double quad across the terrain, then move to the zipline if that's your choice, or try the Nepalese bridge or mountain sledding depending on which activities you book. The guide speaks English or French and stays with the group through the day. Closed-toe shoes are required for all activities. The operator recommends bringing spare clothes, sunglasses, sun cream and mosquito repellent.
The landscape itself is the draw: 450 acres of plateaus, mountains, valleys and waterfalls spread across a natural amphitheater. You'll see endemic and indigenous flora and fauna (tortoises, monkeys, stags, pink pigeons and other birds), and visit the geological site called the 23 coloured earth. The park has existed since 1998 and was formerly known as La Vallee des Couleurs.
Admission is included in your booking. If you need transport, pickup is available when you add it to your purchase. Infants sit on an adult's lap during activities. The operator notes that travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness for the activities you choose.
