Private Airport Transfer Mauritius: SSR to Your Hotel

Skip the taxi queue and arrive on your own schedule

A private one-way transfer from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (SSR) to your hotel, villa or Airbnb in Mauritius, with a dedicated driver holding a name board, real-time flight monitoring, and up to 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time included. The driver speaks English and French, handles your luggage, and the vehicle (a private car, SUV or minivan depending on your group size) is yours alone with no shared passengers. Child seats are available on request, and pricing is fixed with no hidden charges.

The experience

The transfer starts before you land. You provide your flight number and arrival details when you book, and the operator monitors your flight in real time, adjusting the pickup time if you arrive early or are delayed. After you collect your luggage and clear customs, your driver will be waiting inside the arrivals hall with a name board displaying your name. No searching for a ride or negotiating with strangers. Your driver knows who you are and where you're going.

The drive to your accommodation takes roughly 90 minutes depending on where you're staying. You travel in a clean, air-conditioned vehicle that belongs to your group alone. There are no other passengers, no detours to drop off other travelers, and no surprises. The driver handles your luggage and drops you directly at your hotel, resort, villa, Airbnb or private residence. Fuel, airport parking, taxes and road charges are all included in the fixed price you pay upfront.

Choose between a private car or SUV for up to four passengers, or a minivan for groups up to eight. If you're traveling with infants or small children, request a child seat, booster seat or infant seat when you book. They're provided at no extra cost. The driver speaks English and French, so communication is straightforward whether you need directions to a restaurant, advice about the area, or just quiet time to settle in after your flight.

Top questions

What languages is the tour guided in?

Live guide in English and French.

How does the driver know when my flight lands if it's delayed?

The operator monitors your flight in real time using your flight number. If your arrival is delayed, the pickup time adjusts automatically, so your driver won't be waiting at the terminal before you've landed and cleared customs. You get up to 60 minutes of free waiting time built in.

What size vehicle should I book for my group?

A private car or SUV fits up to four passengers with luggage. A private minivan accommodates up to eight. Choose based on your party size and how much baggage you're bringing. Either way, the vehicle is reserved for your group alone.

Are child seats really included, or do I pay extra?

Child seats, booster seats and infant seats are included at no extra charge when you request them at booking. Infants can also travel in a pram or stroller if you prefer.

What happens if my luggage is heavy or I need help getting it to my room?

Your driver assists with unloading luggage at your accommodation. For help inside your hotel or villa, you'll need to arrange that separately with your accommodation, but the driver will get your bags to the entrance.

Can the driver give me tips about where to eat or what to see in Mauritius?

Your driver speaks English and French and can offer local advice during the journey. For detailed tour recommendations or restaurant reservations, your accommodation is usually the best source, but your driver can point you toward popular areas.
