The experience

Fuvahmulah holds the largest population of tiger sharks in the world and the only confirmed mating site for both tiger and thresher sharks. You'll dive Tiger Shark Point in the afternoon of most days, making three dives daily across the week: a morning dive through deep channels and vibrant reefs, a midday dive hunting pelagic species, and the afternoon tiger shark dive. Between dives, you rest at the guesthouse or use the included motorbike to move around the island on your own terms.

A PADI or SSI-certified dive instructor leads every dive and handles the briefing. You operate your own equipment in the water. The package includes all SCUBA and snorkeling gear, so you arrive with nothing but your certification card. Daily shuttle service runs from the guesthouse to the harbor each morning. Meals are provided throughout (breakfast, lunch and dinner) plus a cultural dinner with a local family, beach towels, local fruits and drinking water on the boat, and complimentary WiFi in the guesthouse.

Your arrival day includes a domestic flight from Velana International Airport to Fuvahmulah, check-in at the guesthouse, and a welcome dinner. The second day starts with a check dive to acclimate to the water before the afternoon tiger shark dive. Days three through seven follow the three-dive rhythm.
