The experience
The tour starts on the Millennium Axis, the spine of Nur-Sultan designed by Kisho Kurokawa. You walk this line with your guide, who explains the city's history and the vision behind its layout. The axis ends at Khan Shatyr, the massive tent structure built by Norman Foster: the largest in Central Asia. From there, the tour shifts to transport, and you drive past the opera house (opened in 2013, with acoustics ranked among the world's best) and through the business district to see the Arch.
Hazrat Sultan Mosque, Central Asia's largest, is a stop where you go inside. Independence Square follows, and you photograph the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation from outside: its four sides oriented to the four cardinal directions. Throughout, the guide brings each destination to life and helps you frame shots. The vehicle is air-conditioned, WiFi is on board, and bottled water is provided.
This is a private tour, so only your group participates. A live guide speaks English, French, Korean, Chinese or one additional language. Hotel or meeting-point pickup is included in the price.
