The Experience

This is a customizable shoot built around where you want to go, not a fixed itinerary. You tell the photographer your preferred date, time and location before booking, then spend an hour walking through your chosen neighborhood, whether that's the crowded energy of Shibuya, the fashion district of Harajuku, the bar-filled streets of Shinjuku, the temples of Asakusa, or anywhere else in Tokyo's main city area. The photographer moves with you, capturing candid moments as you travel, so the photos feel like a natural part of your day rather than a posed session.

The technical side is handled with professional-grade equipment: a Sony a7R4 60MP camera with 35mm and 135mm lenses that can work in Tokyo's varying light. Within two days you get all the original photos, around 300 to 400 of them, so you can see everything that was shot. You then pick 20 images for retouching, and the photographer delivers those edited versions within seven days. The originals are yours to keep as well, so you have both the raw captures and the polished final set.

The session is private, whether you're traveling solo, as a couple, or with family. A live English or Japanese-speaking guide is included, and pickup is arranged. The photographer works across Tokyo's main districts, though each location may have its own entrance fees that are separate from the session cost.
