The route starts at Meiji Shrine, Tokyo's most prominent Shinto site, dedicated to Emperor Meiji and his consort. The final stop is Senso-ji, Tokyo's oldest Buddhist temple. The five-story pagoda and Thunder Gate are the visual anchors, and the temple architecture is the highlight.
