The park itself changes its hours almost every day, so you'll want to check the schedule before you commit to a date, but once you've picked your day and bought your 1-day passport, the logistics stop being your problem. The app (worth downloading before you go) shows you wait times, lets you book restaurants in advance, and tracks where you are inside the park, which matters when you're trying to hit Nemo & Friends SeaRider or Woody's Roundup before the lines get long.
Re-entry is built in. You get a stamp when you leave, scan your QR code again when you come back, and the park doesn't care if you step out for lunch or to rest at your hotel. That flexibility is rare at theme parks, and it changes how you can spend the day—you're not locked in once the gates close behind you. Fantasy Springs, the newer area, uses a separate system: you'll either grab a free Standby Pass or pay extra for Disney Premier Access to skip the line on specific attractions there, but you can wander in and out of that zone without either one if you just want to look around.
Ticket prices shift by date—peak days cost more, quiet days less—so the price you see depends on when you want to go. Children under 3 get in free. You can book admission up to 2 months after you buy the ticket, which gives you time to plan, and you're allowed up to 10 tickets per order if you're bringing a group. The ticket is locked to your phone and the date you choose; it can't be transferred, printed, or refunded once you're inside the park, though you do get a full refund if you cancel at least 14 days before your visit.
