The Blue Cave is famous for its crystal-clear water and blue glow, but the ocean decides whether you enter it. Your guide meets you, provides all snorkeling gear (including child-friendly float rings with windows so small swimmers can see below), and heads out for roughly two hours in the water. If waves or wind close the cave that day, Zanee Beach becomes your destination: it's shallower, calmer, and still full of coral and fish, which matters most if you're nervous in the ocean or traveling with children.
A local instructor provides one-on-one support throughout, so even if you can't swim well, you're not alone in the water. All equipment is free to use. The only cost beyond the tour price is ¥500 cash per person at check-in, which covers the shower, hair dryer, and transport to and from the beach.
