The sky gondola carries you one way over Owakudani, a volcanic valley known for sulfur vents and black eggs cooked in hot spring water — a local specialty said to add seven years to your life. Next comes a 30-minute lake cruise on a pirate ship across Lake Ashi, where you see the iconic Torii Gate, surrounding mountains and Mt. Fuji reflected in the water.

The final leg depends on which return option you chose at checkout. If you picked the Bullet Train, you board at Odawara Station and ride Japan's fastest train for roughly 35 minutes to Tokyo Station, arriving between 6:30 and 7:00 pm. The guide helps you navigate local trains or points out the nearest taxi stand if you need it. If you chose the bus return, you disembark at Odawara Station for a 10-minute break before heading back to Tokyo by road.
