At the pearl museum, you watch a live demonstration by Ama divers: the women who traditionally collected seafood and pearls by hand from the ocean. Seeing them work in the water is the centerpiece of this part of the day. You can then shop for authentic Mikimoto pearls at the on-site shop if you choose to.
