The experience

The Rio Bueno starts at a waterfall, where your guide meets you at River Rapids Jamaica and fits you with a life jacket and helmet. From there you walk into the rainforest canopy and tube down 2 miles of river, floating over rushing rapids as the jungle closes in around you. When the water calms, you swap the tube for a raft and paddle the final stretch into the Caribbean Sea.

Bengal Beach is where the day slows down. The white sand and warm water of Bengal Bay are yours to use however you want: some travelers swim, others dry off and rest. The whole outing runs 3.5 hours from port pickup to drop-off, so the timing fits a ship's schedule without cutting the river or the beach short.
