The experience
The day starts with pickup from your Montego Bay hotel in an air-conditioned van. Your guide will point out areas of interest during the approximately two-hour drive inland to Blue Hole and Secret Falls. Once you arrive, the guide briefs you on what to do at each site. Admissions are already paid, so you walk straight in without waiting in line at the gate.
At the falls, you get to choose your own level of adventure. The 30-foot jump is the main draw. You stand at the edge, take a breath and leap into the mineral-rich pool below. The water is deep enough for the dive, and the rush is immediate. If the big jump isn't for you, there are smaller rocks to jump from and pools to swim in at both waterfalls. You control the pace and how many times you go back in. About an hour is set aside for lunch, which you arrange on your own at the site.
After you've finished at the falls, there's time to walk through the souvenir shop before the drive back to Montego Bay takes about two hours. The whole outing runs roughly six to seven hours from pickup to drop-off. Specialized infant seats are available if you're traveling with a child from age three, though the activity itself is physically demanding and best suited to swimmers and jumpers in moderate fitness.
What’s included
- Round-trip air-conditioned transport from your Montego Bay hotel.

Is this one for you?Your guide speaks English throughout the day, so you'll understand the safety briefing and the landmarks your driver points out on the drive. If you're a confident swimmer and want to jump, you set the pace and the number of attempts. If you prefer to stay in the shallower pools and watch others, that works too.
