A 90-minute wine tasting and vineyard visit at a working estate in S. Maria Imbaro on the Trabocchi coast, where you walk through vineyards and olive groves, tour the cellar to see how grapes become wine, and taste five typical Abruzzo wines with local bread, cured meats, cheese and olive oil. The guide speaks English, Spanish or Italian. Wine tastings are for adults only. Children can visit but do not participate in the tasting.

The experience

The estate sits in countryside on the Trabocchi coast, and the visit starts with a walk through the vineyards and olive groves that surround it. You move through the working cellar next, where the guide explains how grapes are processed and transformed into wine: the methods and the reasoning behind them, not just the finished product. The tasting itself comes last, five wines paired with a spread of genuine local products: bread, extra virgin olive oil, cured ham, Abruzzo salami, and cheese.

The whole experience runs 90 minutes. A guide leads the group in English, Spanish or Italian, and the pace is built around standing and walking through the vineyard and cellar spaces. Bottled water is provided. The estate is wheelchair accessible, and all areas and surfaces accommodate wheelchairs. Strollers are welcome for infants and small children, and service animals are allowed.
