The Experience

The motorboat departs from your Venice City Hotel and takes you directly to Venice International Airport across the lagoon. You'll either board at your hotel's private pier (if it has one) or a representative meets you in the lobby and walks you to the nearest embarkation point. You get to choose between two service levels when you book. The Meet and Greet option has someone collect you at the hotel and guide you to the boat, then meet you again at the airport to walk you through to departures. Each traveler can bring one suitcase and one carry-on bag. If the weather turns bad (fog, ice, or storms), the motorboat gets diverted and you'll travel by vehicle from Piazzale Roma instead, so you still make your flight. The Marriott on Isola delle Rose adds a €20 surcharge paid on the spot. Transfers run around the clock, seven days a week, so whether you're leaving at dawn or midnight, there's a boat waiting.
