The experience
You arrive at a local's home in Sanremo and spend the afternoon or evening cooking and eating together. The host (a member of Cesarine, Italy's network of home cooks across more than 500 cities) opens their kitchen to you and walks through the preparation of each course: a seasonal starter, fresh pasta, a second course with side dish, and a typical dessert. You watch the cooking happen, ask questions, and then sit down to eat what was just made. Water, a selection of regional red and white wines, and coffee come with the meal.
This is not a cooking class where you do the work yourself. You're a guest in someone's home, watching them cook the food they know how to make, then sharing the table with them. The warmth of the experience comes from the connection: a real person opening their home and their family's recipes to a traveler who wants to understand how they actually eat. Cesarine hosts are chosen for their hospitality and their passion for their own food.
Public transportation options are available nearby if you need them. The experience suits all fitness levels. You'll need to arrange your own way to the host's address. They'll provide it once you book.
