The experience
I didn’t expect to feel so calm walking into the Vatican Museums in Rome that late in the day. And then there was the Sistine Chapel. I’d seen photos but standing under Michelangelo’s ceiling… well, my neck hurt after five minutes but I barely noticed at first.
