The experience
You board a speedboat with your skipper and up to seven other passengers, and the route is yours to shape. The skipper knows the western and eastern coasts and will recommend the points of greatest interest, or you can ask for something specific. The boat holds a maximum of eight people, so the group stays small enough that everyone gets a clear view and the skipper can hear requests over the engine.
The tour passes the villages that line the shore: Gargnano, which the skipper calls the most beautiful on the lake; Gardone and Salò on the western side; Sirmione, Lazise and Bardolino on the eastern side. You'll pass the Island of Garda to see Villa Canossa, and stop at Punta San Vigilio, a picturesque peninsula. If you want to eat, the skipper can arrange a transfer to a restaurant on the shore, or you can ask to linger at a particular village. Sunset tours are available if you want to see the lake change light as the day ends.
The skipper speaks English, Italian or German and is included in the price. Pickup is arranged for you. Small dogs are welcome on board, and infants can ride if they sit on an adult's lap. The tour runs four hours, and you can disembark and embark at the places most convenient to you.

Can I ask the skipper to stop at a specific place or change the route?
