The experience

The car arrives at your Positano location and takes you north along the coast to Bomerano, the village where the Path of the Gods begins. The route covers the distance in one to two hours depending on traffic and your exact pickup point. You travel in a new, air-conditioned Mercedes: either a standard sedan or a station wagon if you're traveling with luggage or a small group. The driver handles the winding coastal road while you settle in for the ride.

Bomerano sits at the top of the trail, roughly 1,300 meters above sea level. From there, the Path of the Gods descends toward Praiano and Positano, following the ridge with views down to the water. The transfer gets you to the point where the walk actually starts, so you don't waste daylight figuring out how to reach it by bus or navigating the narrow roads yourself.
