Paint a canvas surrounded by vines while tasting four local wines

A two-hour painting class at a Padua vineyard where you create art on canvas while sipping four glasses of Prosecco DOCG and sampling local cured meats and cheeses. No painting experience is required. All materials are provided. The session takes place outdoors in the garden, and your finished canvas is yours to take home.

The experience

You arrive at the cellar and step into a space where art and wine live together: sculptures and paintings from local artists hang year-round, and even the wine labels are designed by them. The guide walks you through this blend of creativity and viticulture, then leads you to the outdoor garden where the vines frame your workspace. Canvas, brushes, paints and an easel are already set up. You bring only your imagination and paint for two hours while the vineyard surrounds you.

During the painting, the guide pours four glasses of Prosecco DOCG Valdobbiadene Superiore and brings out a platter of local cured meats and cheeses to pair with the wine. You taste and paint at your own pace. There's no instruction on technique, no right way to hold the brush, no judgment. The guide talks about the wines as you work, but the focus stays on what you're creating. When the two hours end, you roll up your finished canvas and take it with you as proof of the afternoon.

The class runs in a shared group, so you'll paint alongside other visitors. English, Italian and German guides are available depending on the session. The site is wheelchair accessible, and children from age one are welcome: infants sit on an adult's lap. Public transport stops nearby if you're coming from central Padua.
