The experience

The Navigli district opens the tour as a working neighborhood, not a museum. Your guide knows the history behind each shop: the stories of craft ateliers, the designers who chose these streets, the way fashion took root here. You'll walk past Antonioli, a flagship multi-brand store that functions as a gallery, its carefully curated selection set into dark stone and glass. From there, the route moves to Armani Silos, the headquarters and museum Giorgio Armani opened in 2015 inside a former grain warehouse. The architects kept the building's historical shell but transformed the interior into what amounts to a temple of the brand's archive and creative process.

Brera is where the artisans live. You'll see the Spelta family's signature ballet flats: handmade from suede and leather since 1957, now available in every pastel shade alongside the traditional blues and blacks. Faliero Sarti sells silk, wool and cashmere scarves with prints bold enough to set a mood or classic enough for anyone who knows restraint.
