The experience

The boat leaves Marina di Santa Lucia in Naples and heads across the Bay of Naples, passing Castel dell'Ovo, Mount Vesuvius and the Posillipo coastline on the way to Procida. Once there, you cruise around the crescent-shaped islet of Vivara, a protected nature reserve, then pull into La Corricella: a car-free fishing village with pastel-colored houses stacked down to the water, lined with seafood restaurants and artisan shops. The skipper handles the navigation. You decide how long to stay.

The route continues to Ischia, where a photo stop at Castello Aragonese frames the medieval fortress built on a rocky islet and connected by a narrow stone bridge. It dates to 474 BC and overlooks the entire Gulf of Naples. A swimming stop at Maronti Beach follows, a long stretch of golden sand with clear water and natural thermal springs. Sant'Angelo, another car-free port village, is optional. If you want to land there, a port fee applies and you can eat at Il Pescatore or La Tavernetta del Pirata. The boat also passes Baia di Sorgeto, where hot springs mix with seawater, and continues around landmarks like Faro di Punta Imperatore, Forio and Lacco Ameno before returning to Naples.

Onboard, you have complimentary white wine, prosecco, limoncello, beer and soft drinks, plus water and snacks. The boat carries a restroom and WiFi. You can pick your start time and build the day around what matters, whether that is the beaches, the villages, the castle or simply anchoring in clear water with a glass of wine. The tour operates on one of four vessels (Tornado 50 "Skins", Apreamare Gozzo 45 "MAMMA MIA", Jeanneau DB 43 "La Dolce Vita", or Pardo 43 "That's Amore") each a private luxury powerboat. You choose which one at checkout. All follow the same route and include the same skipper, drinks and stops.

Do I have to visit both Procida and Ischia?

The standard route covers both islands, but the skipper works with you on timing and which stops to prioritize. If you want to spend more time at one island or skip a particular village, the concierge can adjust the itinerary before departure.

What's included in the price, and what costs extra?

The tour includes the boat, skipper, complimentary wine, prosecco, beer, soft drinks and snacks, plus pickup and drop-off at your Naples location. Port fees for Procida (around €50) and Sant'Angelo (€50) are separate if you want to land there. Lunch at waterfront restaurants is also on your own.

Can I swim during the tour?

Yes, Maronti Beach is a dedicated swimming stop with golden sand and clear water. Baia di Sorgeto, where natural hot springs warm the seawater, is also part of the route. The skipper can make additional stops if you want to dive in elsewhere.
