The experience
The winery sits in the rolling moraine hills of Franciacorta, the region where Metodo Classico sparkling wines are born. You start with a guided tour of the cellar itself, not a museum version, but the actual workspace where fermentation happens and bottles age. The guide walks you through the production methods and refinement techniques that separate one label from another, and you see the equipment and the space where the work gets done every day. This is not a polished tasting room. It is where the wine is made.
After the cellar, you sit down to taste. You choose your route at checkout: the Icone route with three Franciacorta Millesimati; the Farmer route with six wines of your choice; the Golosa route with eight; the Cellar route with four wines you select; or the Rare Grapes route, an exclusive tasting of four selected wines including three VSQ Metodo Classico and one Franciacorta DOCG Riserva. Each wine comes with a story from the person who made it. Cold cuts and cheeses from local farms arrive on the board, and if you want more, you can add a second mixed platter to share.
The whole experience runs about 90 minutes. Public transportation stops nearby if you are coming from Brescia. The guide speaks English or Italian, and you can book either language when you reserve.
