The experience
The catamaran leaves Arbatax in the morning and heads south along the coast, passing under the Perda Longa cliff before the first swim stop. From there the day moves between five named coves: Cala Goloritzè, Cala dei Gabbiani, Cala Mariolu, the Piscine di Venere (natural pools), and Cala Biriola, each one a stop to swim, snorkel or explore. The boat itself is new, built wide and stable enough that you can lie on bow beds in the sun or climb to the fly deck to watch the coastline from above. Restrooms are on board, and the crew handles the logistics while you move between water and deck.
At one stop, you can swim into sea caves. At another, the Piscine di Venere are unique natural pools worth a visit and photos. Snorkeling happens in the clearest water Sardinia has, and the crew provides all the gear. Lunch, based on local products, is prepared and served while you're on the water, along with snacks, bottled water and sodas throughout the day.
The catamaran is built for comfort and stability, which means it works well for people with reduced mobility. Infants and small children can travel in a pram or stroller. A guide speaks English, Spanish, Italian, French and two other languages, so the stops and the coast get explained as you move. The boat departs daily in summer (June through September) or in the shoulder season (May and October), so you can choose the timing that fits your trip.

Is this one for you?The catamaran's width and stability let you lie in the sun on bow or fly-deck beds between swims, so if you want to float and rest as much as you want to snorkel, this boat gives you both without the crowding of a smaller vessel. Summer departures (June–September) run daily. Shoulder-season dates (May and October) suit travelers who want fewer crowds on the water.
