Blevio forest hike and yoga: Private Lake Como session
Hike uphill through oak and chestnut forest, then practice yoga on a terrace above the lake
A three-hour activity in Blevio combines a guided forest hike with a private yoga class on a secluded terrace overlooking Lake Como. You walk uphill through shaded paths lined with oak, chestnut and laurel trees, crossing streams and stone steps for about 30 minutes before reaching a renovated baita. After resting and tea, you join a yoga session on the terrace, then share homemade bread, fresh fruit and cinnamon rolls while taking in views of Villa d'Este, Villa Pizzo, Cernobbio and Moltrasio. The route back down takes the same path.

The experience
The hike starts from a meeting point and climbs through Blevio's forest on a mix of hand-laid stairs, cobblestone and dirt paths. The route is shaded throughout, winding past oak, chestnut and laurel trees with several small streams crossing the way. Sweet benches are placed along the path so you can rest whenever you need to. The ascent takes about 30 minutes at an easy pace. The baita itself sits in an extremely secluded spot with views across the lake, and you'll often see deer, rams, pigs, goats and chickens moving through the surrounding forest.
Once you arrive at the baita, there's time to catch your breath, drink fresh tea and settle in before the yoga class begins on the terrace. The session is led by a guide who speaks English or Italian, and you practice overlooking the water with Villa d'Este, Villa Pizzo, Cernobbio and Moltrasio visible across the lake. After the class ends, you stay on the terrace to eat homemade banana bread, fresh fruit and cinnamon rolls while the forest stays quiet around you. The descent follows the same path back to where you started.
