The experience
The skipper meets you and takes you out into Donegal Bay to fish the grounds they know hold mackerel, shark, ling and the dozen other species that move through these waters. You cast from the boat itself, not from a crowded shore, which means you're fishing where the fish actually are. The trip is built around your experience level, so whether you've fished before or you're casting for the first time, the skipper adjusts what you're targeting and how. All rods, tackle and safety equipment come with you. The boat is equipped with modern navigation aids and is built to handle rough sea conditions safely.
A half-day trip runs about four hours on the water. A full day runs eight hours. Private transportation gets you to the boat, and the skipper handles the navigation and the knowledge of where to fish. You do the casting, the reeling and the work of landing what bites. Life jackets are required when you're on or near the water.

Is this one for you?Book the half-day if you want to test offshore fishing without committing a full day, or the full-day option if you're serious about the catch and the time on the water. Either way, you're fishing from a boat in open water with someone who knows where the fish are, not casting from a crowded shore hoping they swim close enough to reach.
