Inisheer sits just 20 minutes off the coast by ferry from Doolin. The boat gets you there, and when you step onto the island you're already in a different pace: horses in the fields, farmers at work, Irish being spoken by the locals. Your guide meets you with bikes already sorted, so there's no rental desk or waiting around. The two-hour ride loops the island and takes in sunken graveyards, shipwrecks and old castles.
