The route starts at the Letchmi Tea Estate, where the guide walks you through the plantations and village surroundings before the jeep heads toward the water. Viriparai and Perumbankuthu waterfalls come next—both are swimmable, and the guide will tell you which pools are safe. The Hanging Bridge and Tiger Cave are stops for their own sake: the bridge spans a gorge, and the cave sits in a landscape that explains why the name stuck. None of these are detours; they are the day itself, and they fill the first few hours before the light starts to shift.

The elephant viewpoint at Anakulam is the reason the tour exists. Elephants gather near the river in the late afternoon, and the timing is built around that.
