- Taste Delhi’s best kebabs and sweets
The Experience
The day starts with the Delhi Metro from Connaught Place—the way locals actually move through the city. Once you're in Old Delhi, the food begins. Chandni Chowk is where you taste 11 iconic street foods: sweet and spicy, the foods that have fed Delhi for generations. The guide takes you to the vendors and the stalls, not the tourist versions, and everything you eat is included.
After the food run, you walk into Khari Baoli, Asia's largest spice market. The scale alone stops you—rows of shops stacked floor to ceiling with turmeric, cardamom, chili, cumin. The guide walks you through the aromas and the stories behind them, the way the market has worked for centuries. Then comes Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, which you see from outside, and the kebabs and local sweets that finish the morning. A rickshaw ride is built into the route, so you move through the lanes the way the city does.
The whole tour runs 4 hours. Your guide speaks English or Hindi, and children from age 1 are welcome. Unlimited soft drinks come with the food, so you stay hydrated through the heat and the crowds. Solo travelers find this tour built for them—safe, comfortable, and designed to show Delhi beyond what the guidebooks say.
