The Experience

The tour leaves Reykjavík in the morning and moves through South Iceland's coastal landmarks in sequence. Skógafoss comes first—a 60-meter waterfall 25 meters wide where you can view it from below or climb 370 steps to the top. From there, a short 15-minute walk takes you to Sólheimajökull Glacier, a sublet of Mýrdalsjökull, where you stand at the glacier snout and see how Icelandic ice forms, moves and melts. The route then passes through a picturesque town on the South Coast before reaching Reynisfjara Black Beach, where basalt column cliffs frame the raw North Atlantic—the site demands respect for its power and beauty.

Seljalandsfoss comes next: a 66-meter waterfall where you can walk around and behind it, though spray is guaranteed. On clear days, the Westman Islands are visible from here. After the waterfalls and glacier, the group transfers to Sky Lagoon, Iceland's newest thermal spa, where you spend a couple of hours. The Pure Pass gives you access to the 7-Step Ritual Experience with steam room and sauna; the Sky Pass option adds private changing facilities. You choose which pass at checkout. The infinity pool overlooks Reykjavík and the surrounding landscape.

The van is air-conditioned and WiFi is available on board. An English-speaking guide leads the group throughout, and hotel pickup in Reykjavík is included. Groups stay small, and the fixed itinerary means all transport, timing and spa entry are arranged—nothing to organize once you book.
