The experience
The zipline course runs across jungle canopy, hilltops, open pastures and sugar cane farms. You'll travel 11 lines, some stretching up to 1,020 feet, with two suspension bridges connecting the route. There's no height restriction (guests have ranged from age 5 to 97), and the weight limit is 295 pounds. If the harness doesn't fit due to size, you can switch to the Skip-the-Zip option and head straight to the beach instead. A local island-born guide leads the activity and travels with your group.
After the zipline, you'll visit the on-site animal sanctuary to learn about white-faced capuchin monkeys, sloths, tropical birds and hummingbirds. Then it's off to West Bay Beach, where you get a wristband for a reserved beach chair, restroom access, a changing room and a fresh-water shower at one of three partner resorts: Henry Morgan's, Bananarama Beach or Foster's, depending on availability. The beach time is timed to your ship's schedule if you're arriving by cruise, and you'll return to port with your group.
The whole experience runs 5 to 7 hours and includes air-conditioned transport to and from your hotel, port or airport. Bring your own towel and sunscreen. Neither is provided. Food and drinks are not included, so plan accordingly if you'll be out for the full duration.
