The experience
Taulabé Caves opens the day. You walk 300 meters into the cavern to see stalactites and stalagmites before the group moves on to the lake. The kayaking at Yojoa Lake is the centerpiece: you paddle at your own pace across the water, taking in the lush mountains and bird activity around you. There's no fixed route or speed requirement. The lake itself is the draw.
Pulhapanzak Waterfalls closes the day at 43 meters high. Once you arrive, the choices are yours: stand and take in the view, hike to the base of the falls, zipline out over them for a different angle, or swim in the white river below. An air-conditioned vehicle moves the group between all three stops, and your hotel pickup and drop-off bookend the whole experience.
