The Experience

The captain picks the route through seven stages of the lagoon, moving between mangrove channels, small islands and open water. The wreck snorkel happens over shallow ground where starfish sit on the bottom; the turquoise shallows are calm enough to wade and stand. Between stops, the captain talks through the ecosystem—what lives in the mangroves, which fish you are seeing, why the reef matters—and shares anecdotes about local traditions and island life. The whole circuit runs 4 hours.

Mask and snorkel are provided. Infants must sit on an adult's lap during the boat ride.
