Step-by-step itinerary
Private yacht cruise and swimming
- Depart from Kassandra or Sithonia
- Sail to hidden turquoise coves
- Swim and snorkel in clear waters
- Visit exclusive spots inaccessible by land
- Optional stop at local coastal taverna
- Enjoy breathtaking Sithonia landscapes
The experience
The skipper plots the route around what your group wants to do that day: swim in hidden coves, snorkel the underwater edges, paddleboard in flat water, or chase the sunset. You pick your departure base (Kassandra at Paliouri or Sithonia at Ammoa Resort) and how long you want to stay out, and the boat goes where the conditions and your mood take it. Snorkeling gear and a SUP are on board. The skipper handles the navigation and the boat.
Longer trips (the 5 and 7-hour options) reach Kelyfos Island and the remote bays around Porto Carras, spots you cannot reach by land. A local taverna stop is available for an extra cost on the longer cruises if you want lunch without leaving the water. The 3-hour sunset cruise works best if you want to be back on shore by evening. It glides past empty beaches as the light changes.
Infants sit on an adult's lap. The boat suits all fitness levels. The skipper speaks English and will adjust the pace and the stops to fit your group's comfort and interests.

Is this one for you?The skipper tailors the route and pace to your group instead of following a fixed itinerary, which is what makes it possible to linger at the spots you love and skip the ones you don't. If you want to swim longer at one cove or try paddleboarding instead of snorkeling, the boat changes course. A group boat cannot.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
Can I snorkel if I've never done it before?
Yes. Snorkeling equipment is included on the boat, and the skipper can show you how to use it. The hidden coves and bays where you'll swim have calm, clear water and shallow entry points suitable for beginners.
What's the difference between the 3, 5, and 7-hour options?
The 3-hour sunset cruise departs in late afternoon and returns by evening, skirting the coastline. The 5-hour cruise reaches Kelyfos Island and Porto Carras's bays. The 7-hour option gives you the full day to explore multiple stops, swim longer at each one, and optionally eat at a taverna on the water.
Do I need to book the taverna stop in advance?
The taverna stop is optional and available on the 5 and 7-hour cruises from Sithonia for an extra cost. You can arrange it when you book or decide on the day depending on your appetite and time.
What happens if the weather turns bad?
The skipper monitors conditions and adjusts the route to keep you safe. If conditions become unsafe for sailing, the skipper will return to port or modify the plan. Your safety comes first.
Is the boat private to my group only?
Yes. You rent the entire yacht for your group. No other passengers join you. The skipper is there to navigate and help you get the most out of the day.
