The experience

You meet at Arionos Square near the old Hammam baths, where your guide is waiting on a Segway. After a short warm-up and introduction to the vehicle (you'll choose between the two-wheel I2 or the four-wheel Mia Dynamic), you're ready to move. The guide leads you into the Old City's narrow streets, where the pace lets you spot the details a walking tour would rush past: the Street of the Knights, the Moat, the smaller passages that open onto courtyards and cafés most visitors never find.

The route takes in the Palace of the Grand Master, where you'll stop for photos, then moves toward Mandraki Harbour to see the spot where the Colossus of Rhodes once stood. You'll pass the medieval windmills and the Lighthouse of St. Nicholas before the tour ends at the main beach. The Segway handles the uneven medieval paving, so you cover more ground than walking allows and arrive without the fatigue. Your guide carries a camera and will send you photos at no extra charge if you don't have one.

Bring a hat, sunscreen and comfortable shoes. A bottle of water and helmet are provided. The tour is limited to four people, which means the guide can adjust the pace and stop when someone wants a better look or a question answered. Hotel pickup is not available, so you'll need to make your own way to Arionos Square.
