Thilia is uninhabited and even quieter: a place to leave the kayak and wade into the shallows alone. Snorkeling happens at Meganisi, where the seabed is clear enough to see what lives below. All the gear is provided. The day is built around these moments in the water, not around paddling for its own sake, so the rhythm is stop, swim, paddle, stop again.
