Swim in turquoise pools between 25-meter waterfalls

Hike through the Polilimnio gorge in the Peloponnese, starting from the village of Haravgi, to reach waterfalls and mountain lakes where you swim, then shoot a bow and share a picnic of local products. The route covers three kilometers on an easy path, includes a live English-speaking guide, and ends with photographs from the day.

The experience

The hike starts in Haravgi and descends into the gorge following water streams. You walk past striking natural fountains and reach the Kadi waterfall, where water falls 25 meters into a turquoise pond surrounded by big rocks. Larger lakes like Kadi and Mavrolimna sit further along the route, each one deep enough to cool off in. The three-kilometer path is easy in difficulty, so the real work is noticing what's around you: the sound of water, the vegetation, the way the light hits the rocks.

After swimming, you move to the archery setup and test your aim with a bow and arrow. This is not a lesson in form or technique. It's a chance to see what you can do. Once everyone has taken their shots, the group gathers for a picnic made from local products, eaten in the gorge with the waterfalls still in earshot. The guide stays with you throughout, speaks English, and takes photographs during the day that you receive at the end.

The whole activity runs about four hours. Liability insurance and snacks are included. If you need a vegetarian meal for the picnic, let the operator know when you book. Bad weather or technical problems can force a cancellation or change, which the operator reserves the right to make.
