The experience

The driver arrives at your accommodation, and from there the day follows the route you've agreed on beforehand, whether that's markets, neighborhoods, historical sites or a mix. The vehicle stays air-conditioned throughout, and water is on hand. The driver handles navigation and parking, leaving you free to look around, ask questions or simply sit back. This is not a fixed tour with set stops. It bends to what interests you.

The driver is Accra-born and has worked with tourists, business travelers and others long enough to know the city's rhythms and to navigate it calmly. Working hours run from 9am to 7pm, and flexibility is built in. If you want to linger somewhere or change course, that's how it works. The rate covers reasonable use within Accra for up to three passengers. Trips outside the city (to Cape Coast, Akosombo or from Tema Port) incur additional fees calculated by mileage and paid upfront in cash before you leave.

Payment is cash only: GBP, USD in large notes, or Ghanaian Cedis. Small notes receive a lower exchange rate. Infants sit on an adult's lap. The service comes with a guarantee: an experienced, calm, courteous and professional driver who takes care of clients above and beyond the basics.
