Once you reach Sanssouci Palace park, the route opens onto water fountains and the golden Chinese Tea House, and you can visit the tomb of Frederick the Great. If you want to step inside the palace after the tour ends, your guide will help you get tickets on the spot (note that the palace closes Mondays).
