The experience

You meet at the Apple Store on Jungfernstieg, a two-minute walk from the S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations. From there, the photographer walks you through a short introduction to posing at Hamburg City Hall. Nothing rigid, just a way to settle in and start feeling at ease in front of the camera. The point is to move past the stiffness that kills most couple photos and find the moments where you actually look like yourselves.

The next stops are St. Nikolai Memorial, Hamburg's first church and now a World War 2 memorial with an open courtyard and outer walls that frame portraits without needing you to perform, and then the Hohe Brücke and Brooksbrücke, where the city's famous bridges and the Speicherstadt warehouse district become your backdrop. All four locations sit within a five to ten-minute walk of each other, so the day stays unhurried.
