Day one focuses on the old town. Three free walking tours depart daily at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.—you can join one or skip it and explore on your own schedule. If you want to go inside the Zwinger, the Semper Opera or the Frauenkirche, you book those tickets separately at checkout. Day two opens up the rest of Dresden: ride the full loop again, hit the stops you missed, or book an optional paddle steamer tour on the Elbe. In the evening (9 p.m. April through October, 8 p.m. November through March), the night watchman tour departs for anyone who wants to see the old town after dark.
