The Experience

I met our guide just outside the little café near the Eiffel Tower — she was holding a blue folder and waving, which helped since I always get turned around in Paris. The second floor hit me harder than I thought. Paris just rolls out beneath you — rooftops in every direction, little dots of people moving along the Seine.
