The experience

The day starts at Château de Crémat, a working winery planted across four hills in the hills above Nice between 100 and 350 meters of altitude. You walk the vineyard terraces and taste the château's wines before moving on. From there, the tour climbs to Eze, one of France's most beautiful villages, where you walk a stone path up to the medieval center and its pale ochre church. The village sits perched above the coast, and from the top you can see across the Côte d'Azur. Most visitors also step into the Fragonard perfume factory and shop in the village, though that is optional.

The route then drops to Monaco, where you walk through the Old Town and past the emblematic sites (the Casino, the Prince's Palace, the Rocher) that mark the principality's core. Monaco sits between sea and mountains in a way that shapes everything about it, and the tour gives you the landmarks without the planning. After Monaco, the day finishes with a small boat tour along the Riviera coastline, seeing Nice and its surroundings from the water instead of from land. The boat is the final stop, so the tour ends with that view rather than a return to the starting point.

Private transportation moves the group between stops, and a live guide speaks English, French or German throughout. Hotel pickup is included. The whole tour runs six to seven hours and is built for all fitness levels, though the walk up to Eze village is on a stone path that climbs steadily.
